Vancouver Madinah operates from a space in Burnaby, BC which acts as the hub for the youth to meet and share ideas. This hub fosters a sense of safety and trust and promotes a non-judgmental space where the youth can find refuge and relief from the pressures of the outside world. By cultivating a strong sense of community, Vancouver Madinah successfully brings Muslim youth together. This community gathers to celebrate, discuss, listen, learn and go on adventures together.
Vancouver Madinah is a youth led initiative which aims to nurture and cultivate a sense of belonging within muslim youth. This program provides youth with a safe and meaningful platform to grow, connect and serve their local community. The programming is focused on helping youth develop strong social support networks so that they can connect to each other, their communities, and ultimately to a sense of belonging here in Vancouver.
